Senior Full-Stack Developer / Technical Product Owner (AI-Driven Innovation)
Be an Early Applicant
The role involves shaping AI-driven products, collaborating with stakeholders for product definition, prototyping, and mentoring less experienced team members.
We’re looking for a highly experienced and strategically-minded Senior Full-Stack Developer who operates at the intersection of technology, product thinking, and organizational insight. This is not just a development role — you will play a key role in shaping new AI-driven products, understanding their implications across different teams, and helping guide what should be built — not just what can be built.
You’ll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, define solutions, and in many cases, prototype or build them yourself. You’ll act as both a technical product owner and a hands-on problem solver who knows when technology is the answer — and when it’s not.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product discovery and definition: Collaborate with stakeholders to define what a “useful product” is by assessing team needs, business goals, and potential technical solutions.
- Identify cross-functional impact: Evaluate how new solutions or products affect different teams across the organization — including technical, operational, and staffing implications.
- Prototype & build: Rapidly develop working prototypes or early-stage builds to validate concepts, using a pragmatic tech stack (Node.js, Python, JavaScript — not React/Vue/Angular).
- Own outcomes: Take ownership of ideas from concept to implementation — as a senior individual contributor who understands when to lead, delegate, or pivot.
- Bridge tech and product: Serve as the translator between vision and execution — able to define tasks, prioritize functionality, and assess technical feasibility and cost.
- Mentor by example: Act as a guiding force for less senior team members who excel at execution but need leadership in direction-setting and systems-level thinking.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a full-stack developer or technical product owner.
- Strong hands-on skills in Node.js, Python, JavaScript, and backend-oriented systems.
- Strong knowledge of front-end for events, DOM manipulation and common DOM APIs. Experience with common frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) not required.
- Proven ability to define and build complex systems from scratch — including prototyping, MVPs, and iterative product development.
- Strong product intuition and ability to think critically about what’s worth building and why.
- Demonstrated experience working with or around AI technologies — doesn’t need to be deep expertise, but enough to assess and integrate AI meaningfully.
- Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills — you’ll be working across disciplines and with multiple stakeholder groups.
- Comfortable operating as a high-level senior IC (individual contributor) — someone who can own and drive work without needing constant direction.
Nice To Have
- Familiarity with AI tooling, APIs, or machine learning workflows.
- Experience in agency or multi-client environments.
- Track record of launching successful internal tools, products, or frameworks that changed how teams work.
