About the role

• Primary Focus:

  • Develop our React Native mobile application and TypeScript/Postgres backend that supports it. You'll move fluidly between mobile and backend development based on team needs and project requirements.

  • Guide architectural decisions, code quality, and development practices.

• The Bigger Picture:

  • Work directly with our CTO, marketing team and data scientists to deliver new features. You'll be part of a team that's not afraid to push boundaries and adopt the latest technologies.

  • Dive into infrastructure, security, auditing, monitoring, logging, analytics, and KPIs. We have a robust DevOps infrastructure, but we love developers who want to understand the full stack.

Requirements

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada;

• 5+ years of professional software development experience (mobile preferred), including technical ownership;

• Expertise in hands-on React Native development with TypeScript, cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and infrastructure as code (Terraform);

• Strong experience with Git-based workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions preferred)

• Proficient in designing, querying, and optimizing relational databases (Postgres preferred)
