About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Application Specialist to join our team in Toronto (Hybrid work model). In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and delivery of web applications and sites built on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and ArcXP platforms. This position requires hands-on technical leadership and deep expertise in CMS development, with a strong focus on frontend technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in all stages of software development for complex web applications.
  • Contribute to solution design, ideation, and technology selection.
  • Develop and test new and existing websites based on detailed business requirements.
  • Identify and resolve web-related issues quickly and effectively.
  • Implement site enhancements, support ongoing maintenance, and troubleshoot defects.
  • Deliver high-quality code and solutions under tight deadlines.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, reference materials, and solution demos.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in web frontend development.
  • Expert-level proficiency with content management systems (CMS), specializing in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and ArcXP.
  • Extensive experience with ReactJS and VueJS frameworks.
  • Experience in generating text-based data (e.g., JSON, XML, JavaScript) using Node.js.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript within React frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of complex Webpack 4/5 configurations.
  • Expertise in React design patterns and advanced concepts such as components, Redux, store management, actions, and routing.
  • Experience with React 18, including functional components and server-side rendering.
  • Development experience with Adobe AEM websites and applications (Adobe 6.5+).
  • Experience developing ArcXP frontend React components.
  • Strong skills in unit and integration testing using JavaScript-based frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with source code management tools (Bitbucket, SVN, GIT, SourceTree).
  • Solid knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including design, testing, deployment, and documentation.

Mandatory Certifications:

  • Adobe Certified Expert (AEM Developer Certification)
  • ArcXP Certified Developer or Partner Certification

Working Conditions:

  • Type of job: Temporary Contractor – 1 year with the possibility to extend
  • Work hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
  • Location: Toronto, ON
