Key Responsibilities:
- Senior level expert that can be assigned to high profile and complex brokers and consultants.
- Overall accountability for the financial operations of multiple or highly complex National Accounts clients, including complex participating, flex funding contracts, billing, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Present financial data in client meetings, in person or via conference, including explaining and fielding customer questions regarding complex participating and flex funding arrangements.
- recommendations in client meetings with the overall account team.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party administrators to resolve issues and implement solutions.
- Support strategic initiatives, audits, and new client implementations.
- Validates monthly revenue projections and responsible for data integrity in various MetLife systems.
- Develops and enhances strong, long-term client relationships, instilling client trust and loyalty with MetLife.
- Think creatively to drive revenue generating ideas for assigned customers.
- Serves as a key resource and subject matter expert to Customer Unit and National Accounts and serves as a team leader in support of the Financial Director.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
- Typically has a BS/BA degree and 10-12 years of experience.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent accounting/math problem solving skills, including attention to detail, analytical thinking and decisiveness.
- Ability to balance client expectations with MetLife capabilities and understand the impact both administratively and financially for all financial arrangements.
- Extensive experience managing financial responsibilities for complex client accounts, including complex participating contracts.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (experienced with pivot tables, v-lookups, and macros) and PowerPoint
- Self-motivated to learn more about the business and is proactive in personal development.
- Possesses strong leadership skills; ability to lead, develop and motivate small team.
- Showing positive mindset throughout times of difficulty, which creates a more harmonious working environment.
- Ability to work autonomously; effectively handle multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines appropriately and remain flexible.
