Position Overview 
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated finance professional with a strong analytical mindset, proven ability to analyze large data sets and concisely communicate key business insights to senior stakeholders. The position is primarily focused on total Autodesk topline forecast support, a key deliverable to the Chief Revenue Officer. You will also be responsible for creating a roadmap and financial models for monitoring forecast changes and attainment, allowing key stakeholders to accurately assess risk, opportunities, and performance of business initiatives.
 

Canada based role, open to Toronto, Montreal, or Vancouver.

 
Responsibilities  

  • Spearhead forecast consolidation process; work closely with broader sales finance team to consolidate and review field forecast submissions, and articulate business insights to Finance and Sales leadership teams

  • Assist in the development of Anaplan model roadmap and recommend improvements to processes and models to increase efficiency and adapt to changing business

  • Develop financial models and lead analysis of topline metrics including Annualized Recurring Revenue, billings, revenue and other new financial metrics that are essential to measuring the success of our business

  • Lead the end of quarter revenue forecast modelling, reporting and alignment with revenue and M&A accounting

  • Prepare critical financial analyses and executive level presentations to help stakeholders and investor relations understand the context or 'why' behind our financial results  

  • Establish strong partnership with financial analysis team, Treasury/FP&A, sales finance directors, and finance business partners to provide revenue/billings analysis and forecast support

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor in Finance/Accounting or STEM preferred; MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred

  • 3+ years of related experience

  • Prior experience in Finance, Investment Banking or Consulting

  • Advanced skills and experience building complex financial models, preferably for subscription-based companies

  • Strong aptitude for, experience with, or desire to learn financial software (e.g. Anaplan, Power BI etc.)

Responsabilités

  • Diriger le processus de consolidation des prévisions ; travailler en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe financière des ventes afin de consolider et d'examiner les prévisions soumises par le terrain, et communiquer les perspectives commerciales aux équipes de direction des finances et des ventes

  • Contribuer à l'élaboration de la feuille de route du modèle Anaplan et recommander des améliorations aux processus et aux modèles afin d'accroître l'efficacité et de s'adapter à l'évolution de l'activité

  • Développer des modèles financiers et diriger l'analyse des indicateurs clés, notamment les revenus récurrents annualisés, la facturation, les revenus et d'autres nouveaux indicateurs financiers essentiels à la mesure du succès de notre activité

  • Diriger la modélisation des prévisions de revenus de fin de trimestre, l'établissement des rapports et l'alignement avec la comptabilité des revenus et des fusions-acquisitions

  • Préparer des analyses financières critiques et des présentations de haut niveau pour aider les parties prenantes et les relations avec les investisseurs à comprendre le contexte ou les raisons qui expliquent nos résultats financiers

  • Établir un partenariat solide avec l'équipe d'analyse financière, la trésorerie/FP&A, les directeurs financiers des ventes et les partenaires commerciaux financiers afin de fournir une analyse des revenus/facturations et un soutien à la prévision

Qualifications minimales

  • Licence en finance/comptabilité ou dans un domaine STEM, de préférence ; MBA, CFA ou CPA, de préférence

  • Au moins 3 ans d'expérience dans le domaine

  • Expérience préalable dans la finance, la banque d'investissement ou le conseil

  • Compétences avancées et expérience dans l'élaboration de modèles financiers complexes, de préférence pour des entreprises proposant des abonnements

  • Aptitude, expérience ou volonté d'apprendre à utiliser des logiciels financiers (par exemple, Anaplan, Power BI, etc.)

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $69,000 and $101,200. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
