This role is central to shaping the organization's voice, driving employee engagement, managing reputation, and aligning messaging across all channels. The ideal candidate is a seasoned communicator with a strong track record in brand marketing, media relations, internal communications, and crisis communications and an exceptional relationship builder and collaborator. Performance Objectives
Communications Leadership
- Define and execute comprehensive communications strategies aligned with company goals and culture.
- Lead internal communications to foster transparency, alignment, and engagement, including all-hands meetings, executive updates, and change management messaging.
- Plan and spearhead internal and external communications for acquisitions.
- Oversee external communications, including media relations, press releases, executive visibility, and thought leadership.
- Lead crisis communication planning and response, ensuring the organization is prepared for and resilient in the face of reputational threats with a focus on cyber incidents.
- Drive the development and execution of a unified brand strategy, building brand awareness, equity, and loyalty across all channels.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on messaging, positioning, and stakeholder engagement.
- Champion innovation in communications, leveraging emerging technologies and creative approaches, including Generative AI, to enhance impact and efficiency.
Brand Leadership & Awareness
- Own the development and execution of a comprehensive brand strategy, including brand positioning, architecture, and value proposition with the goal of building brand equity.
- D rive brand awareness, equity, and loyalty through strategic campaigns, creative direction, and consistent messaging across all channels.
- Collaborate across the organization to ensure a unified positioning and "Enverus story" and voice in all marketing, product, and internal communications.
- Define, monitor and analyze brand performance metrics (KPIs) to track brand health, campaign effectiveness, and industry perception.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, HR, design) to integrate brand vision into every aspect of the organization, including employer branding and customer experience.
Internal Communications
- Lead the development and execution of the internal communications strategy to foster transparency, alignment, and engagement.
- Oversee company-wide communications including all-hands meetings, executive updates, organizational announcements, and change management messaging.
- Partner with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure timely and effective communication of key initiatives.
- Champion the employee experience through storytelling and inclusive messaging.
Media Relations & External Communications
- Own media strategy and execution, including press releases, executive visibility, and thought leadership.
- Position the company as a trusted voice in the industry through strategic outreach and content.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of communications and brand professionals, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Oversee editorial calendars, content development, and channel management for both communications and brand initiatives.
- Manage media relations and PR Director and collaborate on media strategy and how to leverage for increased brand equity and awareness
Candidate Profile
- 12+ years of experience in corporate communications, brand management, public relations, or related fields.
- Proven leadership in internal communications, brand management, and media relations.
- Experience managing communications for M&A or other high-impact corporate events.
- Expertise in crisis communications, with preferred experience in cyber events.
- Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and brand-building skills.
- Ability to influence and build trust across all levels of the organization.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
