Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts for automation and provisioning
  • Install, upgrade, and maintain container orchestration platforms, ensuring smooth transitions
  • Manage and maintain logging, monitoring, and analytics systems to ensure observability and performance insights
  • Support different teams and users by addressing their requests and resolving issues related to Kubernetes and infrastructure
  • Maintain and enforce policy and security controls to ensure compliance and governance
  • Manage and enhance service mesh solutions to ensure reliable service-to-service communication
  • Handle and track support requests through a ticketing system, ensuring timely communication and resolution

Knowledge required:

  • Extensive experience in container development and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, Containerd)
  • Experience with DevOps Technologies (Terraform, Flux, Artifactory) related to modern software development
  • Experience with Log and analytics systems (Prometheus, vmagent, thanos, loki, Grafana)
  • Experience working with source control systems (GIT, SVN)
  • Flexible and quick learner, able to onboard recent technologies as required by our customers and products and support them in a cloud-agnostic way.
  • Experience working with CI/CD
  • Experience with task management system and communication tools such as Jira, Confluence, teams, etc.
  • Preferred Experience with HTTP and Linux Networking
  • Knowledge in a high-level programming language such as Python, Go, Java, etc.
  • Knowledge with one or more key technologies including Hadoop/Kafka, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Cassandra, or related technologies.
  • Strong English communication skills (written, verbal)
