We are looking for a hybrid profile with a passion for data, capable of bridging the gap between data engineering and business intelligence. You will contribute both to the design of data pipelines and models, as well as to the development of high-value analytical solutions for business teams. This role is part of a transition toward modern platforms, while also contributing to data governance, as well as the evolution and support of existing BI solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the implementation and growth of the BI & Data practice (hybrid approach) within CIMA+
  • Analyze business needs with stakeholders and translate them into complete analytical solutions (data models, pipelines, reports)
  • Design, develop, and maintain reliable and high-performing data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and transformation workflows
  • Participate in the design and evolution of data architecture (data warehouse, data lake, transformation and consumption layers)
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain analytical data models (dimensional modeling, performance, governance)
  • Develop and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards by applying best practices (DAX, semantic models, performance, UX)
  • Maintain and improve existing solutions, both in terms of data pipelines and BI reports
  • Contribute to the transition toward modern platforms such as Snowflake and/or Microsoft Fabric by adopting data engineering practices
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across all solutions
  • Provide support and ongoing maintenance for deployed solutions, including ticket management and resolution (operational support)
  • Document data flows, transformations, models, and reports
  • Contribute to defining and applying best practices in BI and data engineering (performance, security, deployment, CI/CD)
  • Collaborate closely with business teams to understand processes and maximize the value of analytical solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in a BI and/or data environment (hybrid profile)
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data transformation principles
  • Experience in developing data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
  • Experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, Fabric, or equivalent)
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (semantic models, DAX, performance)
  • Ability to work across both data preparation and data visualization/interpretation
  • Experience in data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema; Data Vault is an asset)
  • Knowledge of a programming language for data processing (Python is an asset)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of business processes (finance, HR, projects, operations)
  • Experience with Microsoft ERP systems (Customer Engagement/F&O) is considered an asset
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Ability and interest in bridging business needs and data solutions
  • Autonomy, rigor, curiosity, and ability to thrive in a transforming environment
  • Bilingualism in French and English required (spoken and written): this is essential for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders
  • Integrity, team spirit, and commitment to excellence
