As a Senior DC Consultant, you'll support clients in the DC pension space, engage in business development, analyze investment managers, and produce reports while leveraging innovative solutions.

Mercer Canada is seeking a DC Consultant for our Montreal or Quebec City office.
As a DC Consultant – you will need to help your clients anticipate issues in today’s evolving DC/Pension environment, come up with fresh ideas and solutions and inspire clients to act. You should expect to be challenged on a daily basis.
This is a hybrid role that requires being in the office at least 3 days a week.
We will count on you to:
- Support your clients, by using the latest innovative ideas, in all aspects of DC plan
- Contribute to business development for instance through direct client/prospect approach or by responding to requests for proposal for DC services
- Participate in shortlist presentations and responding to requests and leads from colleagues in other lines of business.
- Contribute to the expansion and ongoing maintenance of our DC intellectual capital
- Selection of record keepers, and ongoing monitoring of overall DC plan operations; review of vendor contracts
- Prepare or review of member communication materials as needed to supplement the materials provided by record keepers
- Produce analysis reports for participants in DC plan.
- Produce research reports on investment managers, mutual funds, custodians, and service providers.
What you need to have:
- A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or other business-related areas
- A designation such LLQP, CEBS, CFA or FCIA
- 8+ years of relevant experience, including at least five in a DC environment (such as at a consulting firm or a record keeper)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work under tight deadlines, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
- Excellent ability to communicate and foster interpersonal relationships to effectively interact with clients and potential clients.
