With a global presence and an extensive network of experts from academia, government, and industry, the firm provides strategic consulting in the fields of economics, finance, strategy, and health data analysis to major corporations and prestigious institutions.

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining innovative technological solutions to address major challenges across multiple sectors. You will serve as a driving force for innovation, constantly monitoring technological developments—particularly in generative artificial intelligence (AI)—to identify and integrate cutting-edge tools, applications, and data sources to optimize the firm’s service offerings.

Missions

  • Perform advanced mathematical and statistical modeling to translate complex research questions into actionable strategic insights for clients
  • Architect, validate, and launch full-stack machine learning, data engineering, and AI production systems
  • Apply natural language processing (NLP) and generative AI to extract value from complex, unstructured datasets like electronic health records and social media
  • Streamline the architecture and querying procedures for massive databases (e.g., financial data, insurance claims)
  • Build intuitive interactive analytics portals and robust data visualizations (utilizing Python/Flask, R/Shiny, or D3)
  • Develop software packages in Python and R, and optimize computationally intensive workflows (C, C++, CUDA) using cloud and grid computing
  • Serve as a technical mentor, participate directly in client engagements, and help scale the firm’s internal data science knowledge base.

Profile

  • PhD in a highly quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related scientific field)
  • Demonstrated capability to independently tackle complex analytical problems and extract meaningful insights using advanced mathematical frameworks
  • Expert proficiency in Python and/or R is mandatory, supported by a strong portfolio of applied project experience
  • Deep technical understanding of generative AI mechanics (embeddings, RAG, prompt engineering, tool calling, structured generation) with hands-on experience prototyping or deploying AI agents
  • Keen awareness of the ethical considerations, risks, and responsible-use best practices regarding generative AI applications
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and working within High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments
  • Familiarity with Linux, Docker, and JavaScript front-end frameworks (Angular, Vue.js) is highly advantageous
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of collaborative teamwork
  • Fluency in English is strictly required due to continuous interactions with international clients and stakeholders. Candidates must possess valid work authorization.
