Want to play a key role in shaping the future of AI within the Desjardins Business Services sector? Join us and contribute to innovative initiatives that will help position Desjardins as the Canadian leader in the member/client experience by 2035. This role offers a unique opportunity to actively contribute to high-impact initiatives by supporting the synchronization of AI use cases within the Business Services Executive Division, in an engaging environment that’s constantly evolving. As a senior advisor, AI strategy and use cases, you play an active role in structuring communications and sharing AI practices. You also play a key role in organizing and co-hosting workshops to proactively identify sector-specific AI needs. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Contribute to the definition and deployment of the AI strategy within the Business Services sector by playing a key role in its AI use case synchronization initiative

  • Help communicate a clear, compelling vision for the business lines and support functions, in alignment with subject-matter experts from central teams

  • Organize and co-host workshops with the business lines to proactively identify AI needs that optimize the sector’s priority processes

  • Help draft mandate sheets and prepare files for selected initiatives

  • Contribute to the maturation and formalization of AI use cases, including the assessment of expected business value

  • Participate in defining KPIs and in shaping performance monitoring approaches for solutions

  • Contribute to proof-of-concept initiatives in collaboration with AI specialists and other experts

  • Continuously identify and maintain a backlog of sector-specific AI opportunities

  • Help develop the AI solutions roadmap for the Business Services sector

  • Recommend improvements to AI solutions and delivery processes

  • Demonstrate ongoing curiosity about industry trends, use cases and advances in AI solution development

  • Actively contribute to the AI community of practice (presentations, dissemination of exploratory work)

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (IT, data science, engineering or equivalent)

  • A minimum of six years of experience in IT project management, AI or advanced analytics

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Experience in the banking, insurance or business (preferable) sectors

  • Experience in project delivery and in developing data/analytics strategies

  • Knowledge of French is required

  • Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients

  • Strong ability to translate needs into concrete solutions

  • Proficiency in using plain language techniques to communicate technical concepts

  • Knowledge of AI, ML and GenAI technologies

  • Knowledge of data architecture, analytics platforms, ML pipelines and cloud technologies
