Position Overview

We’re seeking a Senior Data Engineer who will play a key role in building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our trading strategies. In this role, you’ll design high-performance data pipelines, develop scalable ETL processes, and implement storage solutions for large, complex financial datasets. You’ll work closely with traders, quants, and technologists to ensure reliable, real-time data is available across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Pipelines: Build and maintain high-performance pipelines for market data, trade data, and analytics.
  • ETL Development: Develop reliable and scalable ETL processes for both structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Data Storage: Implement optimized storage solutions, including time-series databases and distributed file systems, for large-scale financial datasets.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Programming & Databases: Proficiency in Python and SQL with strong knowledge of database technologies.
  • Distributed Systems: Experience working with distributed systems for large-scale data processing.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Scaling Heavy Workloads: HPC, Ray, Slurm
