Role:

  • Design robust data models using techniques such as Kimball/dimensional data modelling.
  • Oversee and optimize data reconciliation/manipulation processes, proactively identifying opportunities for automation, data quality improvement, and integrity/consistency checks.
  • Champion data governance by embedding best practices into workflows and mentoring stakeholders on discovering, accessing, and effectively leveraging data assets.
  • Play a key role in advancing internal event tracking and A/B testing systems through continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Develop predictive and classification models to support strategic initiatives across Product, Customer Success, and Marketing domains.

  • Contributing as part of the wider team to achieve organizational objectives, even if this means doing things that aren’t strictly within the scope of your role.

What will make you successful:

  • Your analysis is not only reliable, accurate, and well-structured, but also demonstrates strategic insight and drives decision-making at a senior level.
  • You proactively engage with stakeholders to understand and align with their priorities, and you can clearly articulate the broader business context behind each request.
  • You lead cross-functional collaboration by identifying key contacts across departments and facilitating knowledge sharing to deepen subject matter understanding.
  • You have expert-level knowledge of data sources across domains (e.g., Product, Marketing) and subdomains (e.g., Product → Storefront), and can guide others in selecting, interpreting, and applying the most relevant data and metrics.

Experience needed:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role within analytics, business intelligence, or data science, with a track record of driving measurable business impact.

  • Advanced proficiency with Python and SQL.
  • Advanced proficiency with Kimball/dimensional data modelling.
  • Advanced proficiency with Looker and the use of LookML to design Explores and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with other modern BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI, with a focus on designing scalable and intuitive dashboards.
  • Deep understanding of probability theory, statistical inference, and experimental design, including hands-on experience designing, running, and interpreting A/B tests.
  • Solid foundation in mathematics, including combinatorics, calculus, and mathematical logic.
  • Proven ability to communicate findings and recommendations effectively using MS Excel and PowerPoint for diverse audiences.
  • Practical experience with event tracking systems and user behaviour analytics tools.
  • Applied experience with machine learning models for classification, regression, or clustering, preferably in product, marketing, or customer analytics contexts.

Skills required:

  • Ability to manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously while maintaining focus and delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong grasp of business context and ability to align analytical work with strategic objectives.
  • Eagerness to continuously explore and adopt new data systems, tools, and methodologies.
  • Ability to proactively identify issues, communicate them clearly, and work collaboratively to resolve them.
  • Ability of working independently and driving initiatives with minimal oversight.
  • Great attention to data accuracy and integrity.
  • You are self-driven, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • You are comfortable operating in fast-paced, dynamic environments, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity effectively.
