The Finance Business Management team is responsible for overseeing performance, financials and governance, conducting business strategy & opportunities, institutional initiatives, preparing communications, reports and presentations for the Brazil franchise, assisting in regulatory demands, innovation projects and working closely with the Brazil CEO on projects and requests.
As Finance Business Manager Brazil you will provide support to the business strategy, optimize performance by influencing decision making, enables execution of strategic initiatives, and help ensure the business operates within a sound control environment. Business Managers act as trusted advisors and counterweight to the Business Heads, and are responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks. This role reports to the Brazil Senior Finance Officer and Country Business Manager.

Job Responsibilities :
- Preparing Business Reviews at local and regional levels; preparing financial reports & analysis; overseeing & assisting in the implementation of local country risk strategy
- Conduct profitability analysis for strategy elements observing business opportunities and cost inputs, such as funding, capital allocations and other expenses.
- Driving the implementation of strategic plans, projects & initiatives, including new products, technology and processes.
- Supporting the CEO in general demands and requests
- Driving franchise-wide expense and efficiency initiatives, elaborating budgets and overseeing institutional expenses
- Organizing events & committees; overseeing institutional governance & regulatory demands; coordinating local Operating Committee
- Partnering with multiple areas (Front Office, Strategy, Risk, Finance/Controllers, Compliance, Legal, Events, Communications and other functions) to drive institutional agenda
- Organizing Town Halls; supporting senior visitors agenda (preparing materials, briefings etc)
- Guiding local communications strategy (internal corporate communications, social media and external media) and preparing institutional materials and presentations
- Supporting initiatives of the philanthropic & people agendas
- Identifying and resolving issues and risks that impact the business, liaising closely with firm wide risk, control, and legal & compliance functions
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- 7+ years of experience in relevant finance business management roles
- Solid Banking product and controller experience, particularly in Markets having served as a controller supporting balance sheet (capital, liquidity) and performance analysis
- Bachelor's degree
- Fluent in English
- Robust understanding of financial products, corporate structure and decision-making processes
- Strong project management & organizational skills: coordinating and managing multiple initiatives (robust time management) and navigating the organization across seniorities and functions; problem-solving skills
- Team-work & proactiveness
- Strategic thinking & great analytical skills; holistic thinking
- Great communications skills (verbal & written): ability to convey information clearly, accurately, and succinctly
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking: proficient in Excel and comfortable working with large datasets
- Proficient in building high-impact management presentations in PowerPoint
