What you’ll accomplish with us

As Senior Copywriter, English Content & Thought Leadership, you will be at the core of our strategic positioning and influence in English‑speaking markets. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Writing, structuring, and producing high‑value strategic content in English, including thought leadership pieces, in‑depth articles, key messages, executive communications, newsletters, and digital platform content.

  • Translating complex expertise and business issues into clear, credible, and value‑driven narratives tailored to English‑speaking audiences.

  • Collaborating closely with internal subject‑matter experts to develop relevant and differentiated editorial angles that support meaningful business conversations.

  • Ensuring content effectively supports business objectives and reinforces the organization’s credibility with targeted external audiences.

  • Upholding a strong and consistent brand voice in English, in partnership with the Practice Lead, and serving as a reference for editorial excellence.

  • Reviewing and optimizing English‑language content produced by the team to maximize clarity, impact, and alignment with brand standards.

  • Providing constructive editorial feedback to support continuous improvement of team practices.

  • Contributing to the effective activation of content across appropriate channels and formats, in collaboration with internal partners.

What could accelerate your success in this role

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds a university degree in a relevant field such as communications, journalism, linguistics, literature, marketing, or an equivalent discipline.

  • Brings 8+ years of experience in English writing, content strategy, or thought leadership, ideally in a B2B or corporate environment.

  • Demonstrates advanced expertise in English writing and professional editing; functional proficiency in French is a strong asset.

  • Is known for exceptional editorial rigor, sound professional judgment, and strong attention to detail.

  • Excels at simplifying complex topics and transforming them into clear, structured, and engaging narratives.

  • Shows autonomy, strong collaboration skills, and excellent organizational abilities.

  • Has an advanced level of English proficiency, as the role requires daily writing, editing, and optimization of strategic content for external English‑speaking audiences and partners.

The typical hiring range for this position is $80,000 to $115,000 CAD per year. The base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role. At iA, we are committed to offering a fair, equitable, and market‑based compensation structure. Our market data is reviewed annually to reflect current market conditions.
