The Senior Cloud & Systems Architect will lead the design and modernization of cloud applications, ensuring reliability and integration while mentoring technical teams and aligning strategies with business objectives.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud & Systems Architect to lead the development and modernization of software and cloud-based applications. This role plays a critical part in ensuring end-to-end system reliability, supporting digital transformation, and mentoring both technical teams and stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in cloud architecture, system integration, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in strategic and operational planning related to software/cloud development and modernization initiatives.
- Lead architectural design across a variety of IT or network environments with a focus on system reliability and transformation.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
- Design and develop integrated architecture solutions involving process, applications, data, and technology.
- Assess current systems and identify gaps, technical debt, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain specifications for new applications, services, and technology integrations.
- Ensure compatibility and seamless integration across interdependent technologies and platforms.
- Support production and non-production environments with a strong focus on troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders to align technical strategies with business goals.
- Provide flexible support during deployment windows and align work schedules with Eastern Time (ET).
Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in systems architecture, cloud computing, or related IT fields.
- Proven leadership experience in complex enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, Kubernetes, and OpenShift platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Comfortable working in high-pressure, dynamic environments.

Working Conditions:
