We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Business Partner, Human Resources (Investigations) to lead our Respect in the Workplace (RITW) Program. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping and implementing innovative workplace harassment prevention strategies across all levels of our organization. Your expertise in mediation and investigations will ensure the effective governance and continuous improvement of our RITW initiatives.

What you’ll do here:

Innovate and lead:

  • Develop cutting-edge practices and recommendations to enhance the Respect in the Workplace Program.

  • Drive the ongoing evolution of our Center of Excellence (COE) and Policy.

  • Oversee the governance of investigation teams, ensuring top-tier methodology and best practices.

  • Elevate organizational training on workplace respect for all employees nationwide.

  • Create and deliver advanced training for HR professionals on respect in the workplace, conflict resolution, and mediation best practices.
     

Strategic Insight:

  • Utilize market research and data analysis to anticipate needs and craft proactive strategies for the RITW program.

  • Collaborate with departments such as corporate communications, legal, HR, compliance, and IT to ensure seamless program implementation.
     

Expert Guidance:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the HR community on complex respect in the workplace issues.

  • Analyze global trends to prepare quarterly executive summaries for the Board of Directors.

  • Enhance our internal dashboard and reporting KPIs to reflect the latest industry standards.
     

Best Practice Alignment:

  • Ensure our practices align with industry and market best practices.

  • Conduct gap analyses and propose alignments for our Canadian operations.
     

What you bring to the table:

  • For all candidates across Canada: Bilingualism (French / English) is required considering the need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.

  • A university degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in human resources, ideally in a Respect in the Workplace function, with strong workplace mediation or investigative experience.

  • Preferred certification in Workplace Mediation and/or Investigation.

  • Proven experience in leading investigative teams and harassment prevention methodologies.

  • Strategic focus, autonomy, and exceptional organizational skills.

  • Strong coaching abilities and a commitment to continuous learning.

  • High capacity for managing stress and navigating ambiguity.

  • Adaptability to a continuously evolving environment.

  • Solid experience in aligning HR strategies with corporate business objectives.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Critical thinking skills with a keen eye for detail and experience in trend and data analysis.

  • CHRP designation.

  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
