The
Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing the client's context and business
needs or processes within the framework of medium-complexity projects that may
require integration across one or more business areas. They interact with
stakeholders, users, and contributors and are responsible for ensuring the
overall alignment of projects with business needs and organizational
objectives. They identify, design, and recommend business solutions and analyze
their impact on the organization. Within projects, they collaborate in defining
business objectives, define the scope of solutions, and support the project
manager in key decision-making. They are responsible for ensuring the alignment
of solutions with business objectives and operational needs. They are also
responsible for the end-to-end integration of business solutions, from the
business requirements definition phase through to deployment.
The
consultant works closely with a Business Architect, business experts, project
manager, sponsor, integration solutions architect, and delivery teams. He is
involved in the entire implementation cycle of the solutions and must ensure
that all stakeholders understand the solution.
The mandate
will focus more specifically on the evolution of business processes and the
Oracle accounting software packages that support them for the property and
casualty insurance finance sector. We are looking for a very senior business
professional in the accounting/finance field, capable of demonstrating
leadership and influence, in addition to a minimum of four years in a proven
business analyst role.

- Bachelor's
degree
- ESSENTIAL:
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, and
financial systems
- ESSENTIAL:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in a business analyst role
- Knowledge
of Oracle financial software packages (ERP Cloud, EBS, EPM Cloud, Hyperion) is
an asset
- Knowledge
of the property and casualty insurance industry is an asset
- Accounting
designation is an asset
