This is a hybrid position with a mix of remote and in-office work requiring two days (flexible) per week in the office. Work arrangements will be discussed with the hiring manager per departmental guidelines.

Two temporary one year full-time positions are currently available, based in Montreal.

Key responsibilities:

  • Guide and advise managers throughout the recruitment cycle (identifying needs, drafting job descriptions, selecting posting channels and testing methods, performing applicant screening, developing interview guides, participating in selection boards as needed, and extending offers to successful candidates).
  • Act as the primary point of contact for both managers and candidates, providing timely updates and ongoing support.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with collective agreements, corporate policies and relevant labour legislation/regulations.
  • Maintain a talent pipeline by actively sourcing qualified candidates through social media, internal databases, specialized groups, professional networks and targeted recruitment campaigns.
  • Develop and implement talent attraction strategies focused on building a qualified, diverse workforce.
  • Promote our employer brand and benefits to potential candidates.
  • Represent the organization and conduct networking at recruitment events (such as job fairs and trade shows).
  • Stay current with evolving industry practices.
  • Contribute to improving our recruitment processes.

What You Bring:

  • Proven influential leadership abilities to guide processes, persuade others and negotiate hiring conditions with candidates.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills in English and French (bilingualism required).
  • Superior interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of varied, specialized recruitment assignments.
  • Proactive mindset when it comes to implementing creative sourcing and networking strategies/activities.
  • High degree of judgment, attention to detail and a strict commitment to confidentiality and procedural integrity.
  • Ability to operate in a complex, fast-moving and evolving environment.
  • Proficiency with tools in the Google and Office suites.
  • Prior recruitment experience in the media, digital or technology sectors an asset.
  • Experience working with an applicant tracking system (Workday an asset).
  • Experience in a unionized environment an asset.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, industrial relations or a related field.
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years’ relevant experience in full-cycle talent acquisition.

Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.

We thank all applicants for their interest, but only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.

As part of our recruitment process, candidates who advance to the next

step will be asked to complete a background check. This includes:

  • A mandatory Criminal record check.

  • Other background checks may be conducted based on the operational requirements of the position.
