We are seeking a Senior Associate, Supplier Management to join our Enterprise Supplier Management (ESM) Team. As a Senior Associate, Supplier Management you will be responsible for the holistic relationship between Capital One and key third parties, enabling a well-managed and adaptable supply chain. You will work closely with internal team members establishing and maintaining relationships with internal business customers and assigned suppliers. This role is essential in the delivery of key cost, risk, and performance management-related efforts for third-party relationships, in addition to identifying strategic opportunities for growth and/or greater return on investment.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Problem Solving & Strategy Advice: Provide problem-solving and innovative ideas to support internal customers. Identify value-generating opportunities (e.g. savings, efficiencies, or revenue growth).
  • Negotiation: Partner to negotiate contracts for a broad range of services for Capital One
  • Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for third parties and manage an effective governance between Capital One and assigned third parties.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal risk groups to ensure third party relationships are compliant with all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Risk Management: Monitor and ensure successful delivery against third party contractual obligations
  • Process Management: Accountable for policy requirements for all managed third-party relationships. Plan and lead periodic reviews and assessments of supplier relationships.
  • Supplier Sourcing: Maintain awareness of external marketplace as it relates to your suppliers and perform sourcing activities where appropriate.

Note: Limited travel may be required.
Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 1 years of experience in Relationship Management, Supplier Management, Project Management, Process Management, or a combination

Preferred Q ualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Operations Management, Risk Management

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Plano, TX: $86,000 - $98,200 for Sr. Associate, Supply Chain
McLean, VA: $94,600 - $107,900 for Sr. Associate, Supply Chain
Richmond, VA: $86,000 - $98,200 for Sr. Associate, Supply Chain
New York, NY: $103,200 - $117,800 for Sr. Associate, Supply Chain
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
