Our Global Commerce and Payments operations teams manage over $12 billion in annual payments through our cloud-native commerce platform, purpose-built for the fitness industry. Clients include Planet Fitness, Anytime Fitness, Crunch, EOS Gyms, and thousands of trainers, boutique studios, and health clubs enabled through our platforms Ignite, Glofox, Trainerize, and Evo.

We partner with some of the leading payments, banks, and fintech companies to drive payments innovation, including Stripe, Worldpay, GoCardless, Amazon Pay, Workday, Avalara, Chargebee, Recurly, and card networks such as Visa and Mastercard.

THE ROLE:

As the Senior Analyst, Market Expansion on ABC's Global Commerce and Payments Operations Team, you will have a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of our global billing, collections and payments business.  In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our global market expansion strategy and processing model for domestic and international markets. Your will develop market analysis & competitive benchmarking, produce mapping of required product capabilities and coverage of local payment methods (Pay by Bank, Cards, Digital Wallets) for each market, analyze licensing and regulatory requirements, and recommend new strategic payments partnerships or to optimize existing partner connections needed to support our clients’ needs and to enable ABC’s long term growth plans. Your ability to analyze data quickly, gather data about markets and competitors strategically and to identify opportunities for improvement will be crucial in driving business success and ensuring that ABC remains at the forefront of the Health and Fitness industry.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:    

• Source and evaluate comprehensive market intelligence and analysis to identify processing solutions, emerging trends, opportunities, and changes in the payment industry which will impact ABC’s expansion plans across priority and emerging markets. 
• Analyze competition in market to produce market entry strategies for new countries or customer segments to optimize processing coverage, revenues and commercial impact. 
• Provide insightful and actionable recommendations to support key decision-making processes.
• Drive the development of market intelligence reports and dashboards, presentations, and business case analysis for market entry strategies
• Support set up of new countries & licenses with appropriate regulatory authorities.
• Develop internal business cases to support market entry including new payment methods, capabilities, partners and business requirements for market coverage
• Collaborate with key stakeholders from Product, Operations, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Accounting, and Legal Tams to ensure market requirements from scheme, local regulator and the business are matched with internal product, onboarding, risk and fraud capabilities as part of business case development.  Identify new collaboration methods and bottlenecks to ensure efficient and timely delivery of acquiring capabilities.
• Collaborate with Treasury team to ensure settlement and currencies capabilities to support direct and third-party billing, collections and payments operations.
• Produce reports and communications for Key Stakeholders across Product, Sales, Finance, Accounting, Customer Success and Operations, ensuring transparency and alignment.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, strategy, Insights, pricing or a related field within the payments industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to interpret complex data and turn insights into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform strategic pricing
• A proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities for business improvement.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on results.
• Knowledge of the payments industry landscape, including card scheme fees, bank processing costs, emerging pricing trends and technology.
• Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in payment systems.

Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and location, as well as market and business considerations. Our pay range for U.S. based candidates for this position is $68,800 -- $91,200 USD annually. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and commissions.

Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and location, as well as market and business considerations. Our pay range for Canada based candidates for this position is $68,800 -- $81,200 CAD annually. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and commissions.
