As a senior risk management analyst, you collaborate with various project teams. Your technical skills and business acumen enable you to participate in the review of business requirements, contribute to validating the IT solution and perform acceptance testing using analytical tools. Your contributions to various projects allow you to develop a strong understanding of the applications, processes and databases that are part of the regulatory ecosystem. This knowledge allows you to contribute to creating and executing business acceptance tests and releases to production, as well as to post-implementation testing by adapting the analytical tools developed for production environments. Through your support, you help integrate new processes and databases, set up replication tools and use data to create value. You analyze data as part of IT projects and solution deliveries to ensure quality. Your understanding of different project management methodologies enables you to collaborate with development teams, providing complementary expertise. Your agility and versatility allow you to collaborate with IT teams, business analysts and also with data users. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Analyze project documents (needs and requirements, project scope, context diagram, product breakdown structure) to diagnose issues, challenges and needs and determine target outcomes
  • Develop and improve anomaly detection and replication tools in accordance with business expectations
  • Develop replication tools for computed variables, scoring and decision trees to ensure the quality of IT development and alignment with business needs
  • Target, analyze and interpret data to demonstrate compliance of results
  • Help analyze and resolve anomalies during development or following release to production
  • Analyze and adapt management systems based on the organization’s changing needs. Make recommendations
  • Provide advice and support to the organization’s units and practitioners regarding your line of business
  • Support the product manager with multiple parallel projects across multiple products.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, mathematics, administration or a related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Experience drafting, executing, and documenting tests
  • Experience with Agile PI Planning
  • Experience with strategic initiatives involving collaboration with multiple parties 
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Knowledge of SQL programming and database operations
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Knowledge of SAS, Java, R and/or Python
