As Senior Advisor, Risk Data Valorization and Quality, you’ll play a strategic role in the Credit Risk Tools Development team. You’ll be tasked with implementing credit risk models and parameters in the application and regulatory ecosystems to improve risk quantification. You’ll be involved in strategic projects that will require you to analyze, document and prioritize the needs and requirements of various internal clients, in collaboration with internal and external IT teams. You’ll coordinate the work of junior analysts and activities with internal and external suppliers, and support teams in various sectors to make sure our projects deliver the best business value. This role requires a comprehensive overview of the field, and an ability to manage complex situations and work with a variety of stakeholders to turn data into performance drivers. More specifically, you will be required to:
Identify, analyze, prioritize and document user needs in terms of data mining, valorization and quality.
Detect data anomalies, and propose and implement patches to ensure data quality, integrity and reliability.
Identify, input, analyze and interpret the information needed in the systems and with internal users to support decision-making processes.
Use appropriate database management systems and development languages to produce and update reports that give a streamlined picture of results.
Prepare recommendations and propose optimal project solutions.
Provide advice to internal users when implementing IT solutions.
Identify opportunities to improve work methods and help develop and implement processes associated with systems under your responsibility.
Support your department with strategic mandates involving several types of users.
Lead working sessions with external and internal IT suppliers to communicate needs and requirements.
Mentor less experienced colleagues and support them during various projects.

What you bring to the table
Bachelor's degree in statistics, IT, mathematics or a related field
A minimum of six years of relevant experience
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Knowledge of French is required
Expert proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
Proficiency in database operations
Proficiency in SAS and SQL
Knowledge of Excel
Knowledge of credit risk management principles
Knowledge of Agile methodology
