SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Do you enjoy developing marketing strategies and executing product positioning, promotion, and go-to-market activities? Are you known for your business acumen, leadership, sound judgment, and ability to manage medium- to large-scale projects? We are looking for a Senior Advisor - Product Marketing for our Group Insurance and Savings Solutions division.
In this role, your main responsibilities will include:
Developing and executing business, marketing, distribution, product positioning, and thought leadership strategies.
Leading strategic projects and specific mandates.
Planning and coordinating marketing initiatives and implementing performance measurement tools.
Conducting competitive and data analysis to identify trends, challenges, or opportunities and making recommendations for the commercialization and development of group insurance and savings products.
Defining customer journeys and the value proposition of products and services.
Leading multi-faceted projects from planning to delivery, including information gathering, execution, coordination, and approval management, while respecting deadlines, budgets, and organizational quality standards.
Providing daily support to the sales force across Canada to drive business development.
Acting as a strategic advisor to teams, senior management, and departments requiring expertise in business and marketing strategies.
Working closely with product managers to define the vision and roadmap for the projects under your responsibility.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing (Master’s degree in Marketing is an asset)
8 years of relevant experience in a similar role
Knowledge of financial products and/or group insurance and savings products
Excellent command of French and English (intermediate/advanced level), both spoken and written
Intermediate/advanced level of English is required, as the role involves developing marketing strategies, targeting, positioning, and defining product differentiators with various departments on a weekly basis. These departments are unilingual English-speaking.
Strong strategic vision to develop complex strategies and align them with all stakeholders
Proven ability to develop and implement marketing strategies
Skills in creating compelling presentations to support strategic recommendations
Leadership, analytical and synthesis skills, strong business sense, team spirit, ability to manage tight deadlines, and creativity
Extensive experience in market monitoring and data analysis
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
