What you’ll accomplish with us
As a Senior Advisor in Financial Performance, you will be at the core of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:
Acting as a trusted financial performance advisor and business partner to managers and the Vice Presidency, developing a deep understanding of business, operational, and strategic issues, and providing clear recommendations to support decision-making.
Supporting managers in defining financial objectives, monitoring performance, and analyzing variances, while ensuring alignment with strategic directions.
Managing the full budgeting cycle for the Vice Presidency (budget, forecasts, monitoring, and variance analysis) with rigor and accuracy.
Producing, analyzing, interpreting, and simplifying financial and management information to enable informed decision-making.
Conducting in-depth financial analyses (profitability, costs, financial scenarios, sensitivity analyses, financial impacts) and developing relevant performance indicators (unit cost, profitability, efficiency).
Actively contributing to strategic and transformational initiatives, including profitability analyses, preparation of business cases (Strategic Business Cases – SBC), and tracking of costs, benefits, and efficiency gains.
Participating in the evolution and optimization of processes, work methods, analytical tools, and management reporting with a continuous improvement mindset.
Performing validations, controls, and complex financial or accounting analyses while ensuring the quality, reliability, and consistency of financial information.
Acting as a subject matter expert within the team, including mentoring and supporting more junior team members.

We’re looking for someone who:
Is recognized for their ability to act as a senior advisor and business partner to managers, with a strong understanding of financial and operational issues and excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
Stands out for their strong analytical abilities, capacity to synthesize and simplify complex financial concepts, and proficiency with analytical tools (advanced Excel, BI tools)
Demonstrates strong leadership, autonomy, initiative, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset focused on value creation
Is known for their rigor, professionalism, and technical expertise in financial performance, financial analysis, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
Has 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in financial performance, financial analysis, FP&A, or business partnering, along with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and a recognized accounting designation (CPA)
Has an advanced level of English and French, as the role involves collaborating daily with and supporting managers across Canada on financial performance matters
