POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly motivated and data-focused Email and Operational Marketing Data Senior Advisor to join our Growth Operations team In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the integrity and effectiveness of operational marketing data, with a focus on identifying and implementing strategies to enhance its quality, consistency, and usability. Leveraging this data, you will design, implement, and optimize automated email marketing workflows that support business growth.

You will also play a key role in managing part of the team’s backlog, prioritizing and addressing incoming requests related to data insights and email operations. This includes collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs, translating them into actionable tasks, and ensuring timely execution.

CHALLENGES TO BE MET

  • Manage a portion of the Growth Marketing Operation team’s backlog, triaging and prioritizing requests related to operational marketing data and email operations.

  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance the quality, consistency, and usability of operational marketing data.

  • Track, document, and prioritize bugs or issues within marketing automation systems; collaborate with IT or technical teams to ensure timely resolution and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate fixes.

  • Design, implement, and continuously refine marketing automation workflows that align with business objectives, ensuring seamless data flow and communication between marketing initiatives and the CRM. 

  • Ensure all email marketing activities comply with relevant regulations and best practices

  • Produce and deliver regular reports on the quality of email and operational marketing data, highlighting key insights, trends, and areas for improvement to inform strategic decision-making across stakeholder groups.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on the use of marketing automation tools and platforms, ensuring they are used effectively and efficiently.

  • Identify optimization opportunities within the marketing automation and email team and follow through with proposed action plan

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven experience in marketing automation and operational data analysis.

  • Proficiency with tools such as Eloqua, SAP Marketing Cloud, Customer Insights, HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, or similar platforms.

  • Experience managing team backlogs and using project management tools within Kanban or other Agile frameworks

  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

  • Detail-oriented with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation

  • Experience working with a Customer Data Platform (CDP) (an asset)

  • Experience or knowledge of the financial industry, entrepreneurship domain or B2B sector (an asset).

  • Bilingualism (French and English).
