Temporary position for 24 months

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with solid expertise in implementing and updating credit risk strategies, assisting with updating credit risk models and monitoring their performance. This experience, combined with your knowledge of how to use these models in your day-to-day work to set up business financing as an account manager, credit analyst or credit approver, and your knowledge of related credit risk will be important in this role. As a senior business credit risk advisor, you contribute to analysis, research and development activities to assess the costs and benefits of proposed changes. You recommend directions and strategies to implement industry best practices for overseeing risk management, changes to risk models and operational efficiency. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Advise clients and partners to help them position, plan, develop, execute and monitor strategic projects and initiatives under your responsibility.

  • Monitor market trends and changes in the external environment that could affect the credit portfolio.

  • Monitor changes and trends of credit risk exposure for the Business Services portfolio, in line with the appetite framework.

  • Ensure compliance with governance documents related to credit risk management.

  • Report on credit risk exposure to various contributors.

  • Represent your unit before decision-making bodies and committees.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, administration, agronomy or a related field

  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Experience in financing operations

  • Experience in data and portfolio analysis

  • Knowledge of French is required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
