Senior Financial Systems Analyst

Position Summary: 

We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Senior Financial Systems Analyst to lead initiatives at the intersection of accounting, systems, and data. This role combines financial systems expertise with business analysis, process automation, and data engineering. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and hands-on problem solver who understands backend data structures and can drive improvements across platforms such as D365, RevPro, Snowflake, and Data Lake environments. 

How you’ll contribute

Systems & Reporting Oversight 

• Administer and optimize financial systems including RevPro and related reporting platforms.
• Develop and maintain financial reports, rollforwards, and dashboards using tools like Power BI, Excel, and SQL.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems and reporting environments. 

Business & Systems Analysis 

• Act as a liaison between finance, IT, and business units to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions.
• Lead process automation and improvement initiatives to streamline accounting processes/workflows.
• Document business processes and system configurations; provide training and support to end users. 

Backend Systems & Data Engineering 

• Understand and navigate backend tables and data structures across key systems (D365, RevPro, Snowflake, Data Lake).
• Collaborate with data engineers to troubleshoot issues, test patches, and maintain system performance, specifically for RevPro.
• Support data pipeline development and maintenance for financial reporting and analytics. 

Maintenance & Support 

• Manage day-to-day troubleshooting of system issues and reporting errors.
• Coordinate and test system patches, upgrades, and enhancements (RevPro).
• Monitor system performance and proactively address data quality issues. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

• Partner with Accounting, FP&A, IT, and external vendors to ensure systems meet evolving business needs. 
• Support special projects including system implementations, integrations, and compliance initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (CPA, MBA, or technical certifications preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in financial systems, reporting, or data engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems (especially D365), revenue recognition tools (Zuora Revenue), and cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Data Lake).
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Alteryx, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
