Lead migration from on-premises SAP PO to SAP Integration Suite on SAP BTP. Assess migration complexity, define strategies, troubleshoot, establish API/interface governance, guide and mentor City SAP PO team, produce status reports, maintain documentation, and provide knowledge transfer.

Role Summary
The client is seeking a senior SAP Integration Suite consultant to act as the technical lead and advisor for a migration initiative from on-premises SAP Process Orchestration (PO) to SAP Integration Suite on SAP BTP. The consultant will assess interface migration complexity, define migration strategies, guide the internal SAP PO team, resolve technical issues, and establish API/interface governance for the new architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP PO to Integration Suite migration activities.
- Assess migration complexity and define migration strategies.
- Guide and mentor the City's SAP PO team.
- Troubleshoot technical blockers.
- Establish interface/API governance.
- Produce weekly status reports and project updates.
- Maintain project documentation.
- Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to City staff.
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in multiple SAP PO to SAP Integration Suite migration projects.
- Minimum 3 years of SAP Integration Suite development and support experience.
- Minimum 3 years of SAP Process Orchestration (PO) development and support experience.
- Proven experience migrating:
- IDoc adapters
- SOAP adapters
- REST adapters
- File adapters
- Message mappings
- Java mappings/UDFs
- BPM/ccBPM processes to Integration Suite.
- Strong expertise with:
- SAP BTP
- Cloud Connector
- Migration Assessment
- CPI (Cloud Integration)
- OAuth
- SSL Certificates
- iFlows
- Graphical Mapping
- Groovy Scripting.
- Experience evaluating migration complexity and defining migration strategies.
- Experience transporting Integration Suite objects from Test to Production environments.
- Experience supporting project planning, task breakdown, dependency identification, and effort estimation.
- Strong communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills.
