Job Description

  • Welcome and serve clients visiting the office;
  • Meet clients on the road;
  • Build long-term relationships within the industry;
  • Maintain the current client list;
  • Develop new suppliers and clients through cold calling, emails, and visits as needed;
  • Respond to client requests, process orders, and ensure proper invoicing to close sales;
  • Identify and understand client needs;
  • Ensure reasonable delivery timelines in coordination with transportation teams;
  • Evaluate projects and potential sales opportunities;
  • Plan and implement sales methodologies;
  • Draft, present, and finalize contractual agreements;
  • Act as the main point of contact for all sales-related activities;
  • Develop and implement sales strategies;
  • Follow up on orders;
  • Maintain relationships with active clients;
  • Prepare cost analysis reports;
  • Ensure effective communication with other departments;
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Qualifications

  • DEP, DEC, or Certificate in Administration or Sales;
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a good driving record;
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the mining sector;
  • Bilingualism is an asset.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills;
  • Organized with attention to detail;
  • Good knowledge of computer systems and the Microsoft Office suite.

Additional Information

  • Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Full-time, permanent position
