Job Overview: As a Sales Representative in the electricity industry, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts, and promoting our range of electrical products and services. Your role will involve building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling, and providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs. With your expertise in the electricity sector, you will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets and contributing to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development:

    • Prospect and qualify leads to generate new business opportunities within the electricity industry.

    • Identify key decision-makers and build strategic relationships with potential customers.

    • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.

  2. Sales Activities:

    • Present and demonstrate our electrical products and services to customers, highlighting their features and benefits.

    • Develop customized solutions based on customer needs and preferences, addressing challenges and maximizing value.

    • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale to close deals and achieve sales targets.

  3. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, serving as their primary point of contact.

    • Proactively engage with customers to understand their evolving needs and identify opportunities for additional sales.

    • Provide ongoing support and assistance to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  4. Technical Expertise:

    • Demonstrate a deep understanding of electrical products, systems, and solutions relevant to the industry.

    • Stay updated on advancements in technology and industry regulations, sharing relevant insights with customers.

    • Collaborate with technical teams to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and deliver comprehensive solutions.

  5. Sales Strategy and Reporting:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets, expand market share, and achieve revenue goals.

    • Track sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics using CRM software or other tools.

    • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the electricity industry or related sector.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical products, systems, and solutions, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
