We are seeking a Sales Engineer with semiconductor industry experience and strong communication skills to help connect the dots between our Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer teams. You will play a key role in shaping how our offerings are positioned, communicated, and supported — helping customers understand the value of our solutions, and internal teams stay aligned on how to deliver it.

This is a strategic, cross-functional role — perfect for someone with a background in market analysis, technical product marketing, or industry-facing consulting, who can speak the language of both engineering and business.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Partner with Product Marketing to develop and refine messaging, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies
  • Serve as a key point of contact between Sales and Product teams to ensure customer needs are reflected in positioning and solution delivery
  • Support Sales with presentations, demos, and content that reflect current market trends and customer challenges
  • Prepare custom client-facing materials to support strategic deals or product discussions
  • Deliver external presentations that translate complex technical offerings into clear customer value
  • Provide industry and market insight to internal stakeholders, supporting product roadmaps and campaign strategies
  • Support customer meetings, helping articulate product value and gather feedback to improve future engagements
  • Help identify and qualify opportunities based on market fit and strategic potential
  • Collaborate with analysts, marketing, and sales to build compelling customer enablement tools

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have experience in the semiconductor industry — through market research, product marketing, technical sales, or analyst roles
  • You're a strong communicator and presenter, comfortable working across departments and engaging with executive-level clients
  • You’re customer- and value-oriented, able to quickly understand customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly
  • You understand the business drivers of semiconductor customers (product roadmaps, IP strategy, competitive pressure)
  • You’re naturally curious and collaborative, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear messaging
  • You’re organized and adaptable, able to work in a fast-paced, insight-driven environment.
  • You are confident in producing successful go-to-market strategies, have strong written and oral communications skills, and can think from a customer’s point of view while considering the needs of the business
  • You can collaborate and confidently mediate across teams and subject matter, on all levels of understanding and seniority
  • You are willing to work on site from TechInsights' Ottawa, ON office with flexibility as needed

  • Flexible vacation policy
  • Annual fitness reimbursement
  • Expected salary range: $118,660 CAD to $132,620 CAD
  • Strong sense of camaraderie, mutual respect, and shared goals among colleagues
  • Support for community through charitable alliances
  • Professional and career development opportunities
