  • About the role
    We are seeking a highly motivated and determined Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic sales team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment and is relentless in pursuing sales opportunities through cold calling and at industry trade shows. We are committed to creating a culture where hard work and dedication are rewarded. We are looking for hunters who embrace the chase and are eager to excel in a competitive environment.
    What you'll do

    • Perform high-volume outbound sales calls and emails to veterinary clinics, introducing Scratch's payment solutions, with a consistent pace of 60 to 80 calls per day.
    • Attend multiple industry trade shows annually on behalf of Scratch, actively interacting with potential clients to broaden our market presence.
    • Arrange and manage appointments for the account executive team to streamline in-depth discussions and facilitate closures.
    • Ensure precise and current documentation of sales activities and client engagements within our CRM system.


    What we are looking for

    • A track record of achievement, ideally through internships, leadership roles, athletics, academic honors, or other competitive environments.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills - you're comfortable speaking up, asking questions, and making a strong impression.
    • Curiosity and coachability - you're eager to learn, open to feedback, and quick to apply what you've learned.
    • A self-starter mentality with a strong work ethic - you're motivated to hit goals, even when facing setbacks or rejection.
    • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments that require adaptability, resilience, and resourcefulness.
    • Interest in developing a career in sales, especially within FinTech, B2B, or SaaS industries.
    • Experience with tools like HubSpot, Salesloft, or Gong is a plus, but not required.
    • Internship experience in sales, marketing, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory.


    Why You'll Love Working Here

    • Competitive base salary ranging from $55,000 - $65,000 and OTE of $75,000 - $85,000
