Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support a growing food distribution business specializing in poultry products.

This role focuses on B2B outreach and lead generation, where you will engage potential business clients, conduct basic consultative calls, and schedule qualified appointments for the sales team. You will play a key role in building and expanding the sales pipeline across targeted international markets, primarily within Southeast Asia (Philippines, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand), as well as Pacific Island countries (Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Nauru). The role will also support selected markets in Africa and  New Zealand.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound prospecting (calls, emails, and messaging) to B2B prospects

  • Identify and qualify potential clients within target markets

  • Perform basic consultative discovery calls to understand client needs and requirements

  • Present product offerings and value propositions tailored to business clients

  • Schedule and confirm qualified appointments for the sales team

  • Maintain consistent follow-ups and nurture relationships with prospects

  • Track outreach activities and manage lead information (no specific CRM required)

  • Collaborate with the sales team to improve outreach strategies and conversion rates

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Proven experience as an SDR, Appointment Setter, or B2B Sales Representative

  • Experience in B2B outreach and lead generation

  • Ability to conduct consultative conversations and identify client needs

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Highly organized and results-driven

  • Comfortable working within the AU timezone

  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup

  • Experience in food distribution, FMCG, or related industries is a plus

Preferred Skills
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills

  • Confidence in handling initial discovery or qualification calls

  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets

  • Adaptable in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
