Job Summary

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Business Development Manager to expand and enhance our existing HVACR wholesaler network in the Northeast USA Region (New York and Northeastern States). This role is key to driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships, territory development, and proactive relationship management. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong analytical skills to forecasting and reporting, and is comfortable with significant travel to engage with current and prospective wholesale partners.
Key ResponsibilitiesWholesaler Network Growth:
  • Identify, onboard, and develop new wholesalers to expand market reach.
  • Build long-term, value-based relationships with wholesale partners.
  • Support existing wholesalers to increase volume, improve product placement, and drive growth.

Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company goals.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings.

Reporting & Forecasting:

  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance analysis.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track activity, manage leads, and report key metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure transparency and alignment on revenue goals.

Travel & Territory Management:

  • Travel up to 60% to visit wholesalers, attend meetings, and support regional growth.
  • Efficiently manage travel schedules and budgets to maximize productivity.

Expense & Compliance Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of travel and entertainment expenses.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably within a wholesale or distribution environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
  • Proficient in CRM and sales forecasting tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable with a high level of autonomy.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 60%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with multi-regional or national wholesaler networks.
  • Familiar with the HVACR industry

Total Comp Range: 120 - 150K DOE

Travel Requirement: Up to 60%

Location: Remote - Northeast USA Region (New York and Northeastern States)
Reports To: Regional Sales Manager
