Rough Grinder

This position is primarily responsible for grinding and cleaning of gates on the parts.

Grinding gate flush to the surface where operator uses a variety of handheld tools and sanding belts.

• Performs pre and post weld blend and preparation operations on castings using hand and bench mounted tools

• Performs other duties as required.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

• Ability to handle hoists

High School Diploma or equivalent

• 3 to 6 months on the-job training required for acceptable proficiency.
