We are seeking a Risk Management, Resilience & Compliance Intern to support our technology and operations teams in strengthening Intelcom’s digital infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT risk analysis, cybersecurity resilience, and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced logistics tech environment.
Responsibilities
Analyze IT systems and infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and risk exposures.
Assist in documenting and enhancing IT risk management frameworks and business continuity plans.
Support the implementation of cybersecurity controls and resilience strategies.
Participate in internal audits and compliance assessments related to IT governance and data protection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine IT-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Contribute to risk financing strategies for IT incidents and support incident response planning.
The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in information systems, cybersecurity, risk management, or a related field.
Familiarity with IT risk management principles including threat identification, control implementation, and risk financing.
Proficient in Microsoft 365
Knowledge of GRC tools or cybersecurity platforms is an asset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
