We are seeking a Risk Management, Resilience & Compliance Intern to support our technology and operations teams in strengthening Intelcom’s digital infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT risk analysis, cybersecurity resilience, and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced logistics tech environment. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Analyze IT systems and infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and risk exposures. 

  • Assist in documenting and enhancing IT risk management frameworks and business continuity plans. 

  • Support the implementation of cybersecurity controls and resilience strategies. 

  • Participate in internal audits and compliance assessments related to IT governance and data protection. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine IT-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). 

  • Contribute to risk financing strategies for IT incidents and support incident response planning. 

  • The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders. 

Qualifications 

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in information systems, cybersecurity, risk management, or a related field. 

  • Familiarity with IT risk management principles including threat identification, control implementation, and risk financing. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 

  • Knowledge of GRC tools or cybersecurity platforms is an asset. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset. 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
