Le but de ce poste est de continuer le développement de marché, d’acquérir de nouveaux clients, de maintenir les clients actuels et de répondre à leurs préoccupations au niveau des produits, du service et des prix.

DEVOIRS et RESPONSIBILITIÉS

Comprennent, sans y être limitées, les suivants:

  • Visiter des clients potentiels dans le but de développer de nouveaux comptes et de compléter l’offre des produits de la compagnie dans le territoire donné.
  • Visiter les clients existants pour maintenir une communication régulière et gérer la croissance des comptes.
  • Responsable de maintenir les relations avec la clientèle et répondre efficacement aux demandes, préoccupations, ou toutes autres demandes des clients.
  • Communiquer avec le gestionnaire en ce qui concerne les changements sur le marché – i.e. les prix, les produits et conditions de marché en général.
  • Tenir les clients au courant sur les changements de produits et / ou les offres de nouveaux produits
  • Travailler avec les clients lors des salons professionnels et des promotions
  • Communiquer avec le gestionnaire sur les stratégies potentielles de vente et de marketing
  • Effectuer des inspections et faire rapport sur les réclamations de garantie

EDUCATION, EXPÉRIENCE et COMPÉTENCES

  • Diplôme universitaire, diplôme collégial, ou expérience de représentation. 
  • Certification liée aux ventes est un atout.
  • Doit être bilingue (anglais / français).
  • Minimum de 3 à 5 ans d'expérience de vente ou de marketing et de préférence en matériaux de construction.
  • Doit être un bon communicateur
  • Doit posséder de très fortes compétences de vente et la capacité d'établir des relations-clients durables
  • Un permis de conduire de classe "5" valide et capabilité de voyager selon les besoins, y compris  les voyages avec nuitées.
  • Compétence de la suite office (Microsoft Word, Excel et Powerpoint)

MILIEU DE TRAVAIL

Le niveau de bruit au milieu de travail est habituellement modéré puisque le travail se fait habituellement dans un bureau.  Une partie du travail pourrait se faire dans les unités opérationnelles; dans ce cas, il faudrait porter de l'ÉPI (entre autres, des lunettes de sécurité ou des protecteurs d'oreille).  Il y a des possibilités de travail à l'extérieur; il peut être nécessaire d'emprunter des escaliers et des ascenseurs.  Le poste comprend de nombreux déplacements (environ 80 %) en auto.

POSITION SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to continue market development, acquire new clients, maintain existing clients, and address their concerns regarding products, service, and pricing.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
Visit potential clients to develop new accounts and expand the company’s product offering within the assigned territory.
• Visit existing clients to maintain regular communication and manage account growth.
• Responsible for maintaining customer relationships and responding effectively to requests, concerns, or any other client inquiries.
• Communicate with the manager regarding market changes – i.e. prices, products, and general market conditions.
• Keep clients informed about product changes and/or new product offerings.
• Work with clients during trade shows and promotions.
• Communicate with the manager about potential sales and marketing strategies.
• Conduct inspections and report on warranty claims.

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS
• University degree, college diploma, or relevant sales experience.
• Sales-related certification is an asset.
• Must be bilingual (English/French).
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of sales or marketing experience, preferably in building materials.
• Must be a good communicator.
• Must possess strong sales skills and the ability to establish lasting client relationships.
• A valid “Class 5” driver’s license and ability to travel as needed, including overnight trips.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, as work is typically performed in an office. Some work may take place in operational units; in such cases, PPE (such as safety glasses or ear protection) must be worn. There are opportunities for outside work; it may be necessary to use stairs and elevators. The position involves frequent travel (approximately 80%) by car.
