This Position reports to:

Global Business Line Manager,Excitation
 

In this role, you will lead the Regional Excitation & Hydropower business with accountability for full P&L across the complete business value chain for profitable growth in alignment with the overall Business Line Strategy and People, Customer and Results focus.

Main Accountabilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Drives regional strategy for Excitations and Hydropower, ensuring alignment with global business goals and profitable growth.
  • Portfolio Focus: Leads offerings in Excitation & Starter Systems, Hydropower Automation & Electrical Systems, and Rectifier solutions for Hydrogen industry including the related digital solutions and services.
  • Operational Excellence: Manages end-to-end operations, including tenders, contracts, and organizational structure to support business execution.
  • Performance & Sustainability: Accountable for financial targets and embedding sustainability across operations to meet 2030 goals.
  • Growth Initiatives: Identifies market trends and drives both organic growth (e.g., cross-selling) and inorganic growth (e.g., M&A, partnerships).
  • Customer Engagement: Builds strong customer relationships and ensures rapid issue resolution through empowered regional teams.
  • Governance & Collaboration: Implements global standards and collaborates across business lines to share best practices and drive results.
  • People Leadership: Develops high-performing teams, fosters future leaders, and promotes diversity and inclusion.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
  • Profound experience in regional management role, P&L management in regional roles with successful prior functional leadership experience in Sales/Project Execution/Operations/Account Management and Service.
  • Deep knowledge of Power Generation, especially deep for Hydropower Automation and Electrical, Excitation business and customer needs in the different segments, Utilities and Industries.
  • Proven understanding of the complete value chain including third party supplier, erection and installation company; Seniority around risk management in complex environment.
  • Proven personal leadership in building and leading large teams, shaping collaborative, diverse and inclusive organizational culture with high strategic and results orientation.
  • Global mindset, inter-cultural sensitivity, and excellent communication skills.
