Your Pay
The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
The salary range for this position is
CAD 25.50-34.50 per hour
Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan (select if STV): Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.
Sales Incentive Plan (select if SIP): Your pay also includes the opportunity for sales incentives as a part of Ericsson's Sales Incentive Plan. Actual payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual incentive target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

What you will do:
- Develop production software.
- Develop automated test cases to secure legacy functionality.
- Develop development and troubleshooting tools that build on ML/AI capabilities.
- Trouble shoot and contribute to resolution of issues uncovered during testing.
- Working with the team, and on your own, to perform software/hardware integration testing in the lab.
- Perform hands-on nodal verification of the delivered functionality.
- Review software designs and test plans
- Report on test results
The skills you bring:
- Student in a B.Sc. or M. Sc. program in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. (Must have completed minimum of 2 years in the program to be considered).
- Technical skills: Software development and debugging; wireless knowledge an asset; knowledge of programming and scripting languages (C, C++, Java, Perl, Python)
- Interpersonal skills: Independent, self-starter, team player who is organized, detail oriented and able to work in a dynamic environment
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, motivated, organized and efficient.
- Effective English oral and written communications skills
- Basic Knowledge of wireless communication standards would be beneficial
- Knowledge of embedded and/or real-time software is an asset
- Understanding of hardware building blocks an asset
