You will be working within our Quantum Hardware Team, a team of engineers and scientists dedicated to the design, fabrication, and testing of novel superconducting quantum processors. You will collaborate closely with other teams when required. Quantum Hardware Engineer – Junior Level

Location: Montreal, Qc. Canada
Job Type: Full-Time | Entry-Level | Department: Physics

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and simulation of superconducting quantum circuits under guidance from senior engineers.
  • Support circuit layout development and validation using Anyon Systems design toolkit.
  • Conduct experimental work related to characterization, calibration and control of quantum devices.
  • Participate in technical discussions and team meetings.
  • Contribute to design documentation and collaborate with the nanofabrication team on basic process reports.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree (M.Sc. or Ph.D. in progress/completed) in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Academic or internship experience related to quantum information science or quantum circuits.
  • Familiarity with Python and/or C++ programming.
  • Strong knowledge of at least one of the following: microwave engineering, quantum optics, superconducting circuits, many-body physics
  • Exposure to nanofabrication or simulation tools (e.g., FEM) is a plus.
