The High-Value and International Payment Solutions Department plays a central role in the Payments Canada modernization project, which aims to implement a modern high-value international payment system that will offer new ways to simplify and improve daily payment transactions. As a quality assurance coordination specialist, you help ensure the efficiency of our international payment solutions by designing test strategies. You support the business sector during the approval phase to ensure quality business solutions that meet the organization’s needs. More specifically, you will be required to:
Help clients define their needs. Analyze and interpret data according to your field of expertise to support decision-making for choosing appropriate IT solutions and best practices for quality assurance and application development.
Develop complex quality assurance execution strategies, determine their scope and write procedures and guidelines.
Analyze risks. Write highly complex reports and test cases, propose solutions and make recommendations. Serve as a specialist on how to implement recommendations.
Oversee the implementation of action plans to address issues in accordance with rules and parameters.
Represent the sector in terms of quality assurance practices when dealing with other Desjardins Group or non-Desjardins Group bodies.

What you bring to the table
Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
A minimum of six years of relevant experience, including at least four years coordinating quality assurance teams
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Knowledge of French is required
Knowledge of the payments industry
