The Project Manager will report directly to the IT
Development Director and will intervene based on the director’s priorities and
operational needs.
Scope and Activities Requested for the Specific Mandate
As part of the mandate, the Project Manager will be expected
to:
- Support
the IT Development Director in managing, coordinating, and executing
various initiatives within the department.
- Take
ownership of mandates assigned by the director, from initiation through
completion.
- Coordinate
and, when necessary, execute mandates or activities delegated by
management.
- Monitor
progress, identify issues, and propose adjustments or corrective measures.
- Provide
regular status reporting to the IT Development Director regarding the
progress of initiatives.
- Manage
multiple files simultaneously using a structured, organized, and rigorous
approach.

The resource will need to undergo the process required to
obtain a Level 1 security clearance from the Ministry of Public Security.
Requirements
Specific Mandate Requirements
In addition to the framework agreement criteria, the
candidate must demonstrate the following experience and knowledge:
- Experience
leading projects using Agile methodologies
- Experience
managing projects in a multisite and hybrid environment (onsite and
remote)

Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s
degree in Information Technology or an equivalent discipline
Experience Requirements
- 10
years of relevant experience in Information Technology
- 5 or
more years of experience as a Project Manager
- Experience
acting as an IT Project Manager on at least 2 medium-scale projects in an
organization comparable to the AMF or within a comparable technological
environment
- Good
knowledge of project management methodologies
- Good
knowledge of project management tools (MS Project or equivalent)

- PMP
(Project Management Professional) certification from the Project
Management Institute
- SAFe®
(Scaled Agile Framework®) certification
