This Position reports to:
Engineering ManagerABB’s Process Automation business area enables customers to operate some of the world’s largest and most complex industrial infrastructures, helping them outrun – leaner and cleaner.
We offer a broad range of automation, electrification and digital solutions for process, hybrid and maritime industries, including industry-specific integrated control and software as well as measurement and analytics solutions and services.
Your Role: Own the Challenge
- Responsible for the schedules and budget (costs) of their projects.
- Responsible for communications with clients.
- Responsible for cost consolidation during the project bidding process. Coordinates FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests) with clients.
- Participates in the implementation of technical solutions in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Coordinates various activities related to their projects (technical solution development, integration, testing, client training).
- Works closely with the operations, sales, order entry, after-sales service, applications, and engineering teams.
- Participates in various continuous improvement activities.
What it takes to Run what runs the world
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience, with a background in manufacturing and project management or relevant expertise. Bilingual in French and English, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership, entrepreneurial mindset, and initiative; excels at prioritization and is results- and customer-oriented.
- Team player with excellent collaboration skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
- French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
