Job Description

We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our multidisciplinary traffic engineering team. You will play a key role in the realization of large-scale projects related to transportation planning, sustainable mobility, public transit, as well as user-friendly and safe developments.

We offer a hybrid work mode, allowing you to work from home and from our offices across the province of Quebec.

Primary responsibilities

  • Manage a variety of traffic and transportation planning projects
  • Manage customer expectations and requests through follow-up and feedback
  • Produce service offers (budget and methodologies)
  • Act as a leader, transfer knowledge and plan resources required for project execution
  • Manage some human resources and ensure their professional development
  • Manage deliverables, budgets, deadlines, approve amendments and ensure financial follow-up of projects
  • Represent the company and the Traffic team at promotional events such as conferences and symposiums
  • Participate in the development and monitoring of the group for the integration of new operational systems (HSE, ISO, Microsoft 365) or other departmental committees

Qualifications

  • University diploma in civil engineering or equivalent and member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
  • More than eight (8) years of relevant experience and solid knowledge in the field of transportation planning, structuring and collective transportation modes, and active mode facilities
  • Knowledge of various traffic planning and engineering software, especially modelling software (HCS, Synchro/SimTraffic, Aimsun, Vissim, Vistro, Viswalk, etc.)
  • Fluency in spoken and written French
