About the role

We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Ops & Planning team!

As a Project Manager your work will have a big impact on the success of our Commercial Insurance strategic projects.

What you’ll do here:

  • People will count on you to manage our Stakeholders needs, collaborate with our internal partners, and oversee the resourcing and timelines of our projects.

  • Oversee the established project vision within the program.

  • Follow and control the project evolution and communicate the progress made, in line with corporate policies and standards

  • Manage project risks including contingency and critical path. Manage problems and risk factors with governance in place.

  • Contribute to the resolution of issues and suggest alternatives to achieve objectives.

  • Make sure an appropriate methodology is used throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Make sure the team has all the necessary tools to do its job.

What you bring to the table:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as Project Manager

  • You have experience in leading projects successfully, negotiating scope, budget and timelines with various stakeholder groups

  • You have strong business, strategic and financial acumen and understand how pieces fit together.

  • You are assertive and exert positive influence but aren’t a bull in a China shop.

  • You forge strong relationships with stakeholders and can work with all levels from individual contributor to executive, and from different areas of the business.

  • You have strong written communication skills and are comfortable giving presentations to employees and to executives alike.

  • You can work on multiple projects and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment, maintaining grace under pressure with tight deadlines.

  • You have the proven ability to lead teams in multiple locations and business areas to accomplish a common goal with a focus on supporting the client.

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.

  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country
