What you’ll accomplish with us
As a Project Controller (PCO), you will be at the heart of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor and assess the performance of projects and portfolios under your responsibility, in collaboration with project managers and relevant stakeholders.

  • Ensure the quality, integrity, and accuracy of data in the portfolio management tool and in deliverables provided to various stakeholders.

  • Establish required controls and quality assurance practices related to resource allocations, effort tracking, forecasting, and compliance with processes and best practices.

  • Analyze performance indicators, anticipate trends, identify variances, and formulate recommendations to improve project and portfolio performance.

  • Structure and maintain projects within the portfolio management tool, and advise project and program managers on matters related to deliverables, schedules, budgets, efforts, risks, and resource management.

  • Monitor vendor contracts, including financial forecasts, invoice entry, and accruals, and contribute to the budgeting process through relevant reports and data.

  • Contribute to project and portfolio documentation and participate in follow-up meetings (governance, committees, audits), while supporting project managers in the use of project management tools and practices.

  • Has a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Project Controller (PCO), ideally within a complex organizational environment.

  • Has an advanced level of proficiency in English, as the role involves regular communication with English-speaking colleagues and working with tools in English.

The typical hiring range for this position is between $66,682 to $96,093 CAD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role. At iA, we are committed to offering a fair, equitable, and market-based compensation structure. Our market data is updated annually to reflect the most current market conditions.
