As a project control officer, you help plan and monitor projects to meet objectives on time and on budget. You work alongside the project/agile leader and serve as point person for the team to help them meet their performance objectives. You are the resource person for project management tools, planning and performance monitoring. You help the project/agile leader and their team monitor projects, small programs and small groups of projects and ensure they are efficient. You plan, prioritize and coordinate work to meet objectives. You anticipate issues and trends, suggest solutions and ensure they are implemented. You use analysis and assessments to recommend innovative solutions. Your initiatives require extensive knowledge of your speciality area. You are the point person for implementation of Project Delivery Office processes and requirements. You are responsible for projects and programs of average complexity that require analysis and solid understanding of the organization and line of business and the ability to work on multiple initiatives at once. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in many other fields. You lead and serve as specialist to teams, decision-making bodies and external providers. More specifically, you will be required to :
Monitor project scopes, budgets and timelines in order to produce reports
Anticipate, identify and analyze trends and discrepancies and suggest solutions to help the team meet their performance indicators
Assist the team with risk, issue and document management
Ensure project management best practices are followed
Help the team update the timeline by keeping track of milestones and key dates for squads and contributors
Monitor and analyze the plan, make resource capacity recommendations and update the project plan

What you bring to the table
Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of four years of relevant experience

Knowledge of French is required
