The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent function-related training.
• Understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, Inventory control, and Automation.
• Minimum 5 years related work experience in manufacturing environment.
• Experience with MS-SQL queries and stored procedures, and database design
• Experience with SQL Server version and patch updates, database performance tuning, monitoring, backup and recovery.
• Experience with IIS Web Services and networking.
• Strong knowledge of Visual Basic, C#, .Net, Windows Forms, Web forms, MS Access, JavaScript, Power BI and Power Apps.
• Computer literacy in business applications and knowledge of ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and English communication skills.
• Exceptional analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

DESIRABLE ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
(Optional) - Preferred but not required

• Experience with Solidat MES.
• Experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Omron, Siemens), Kepware OPC Client and Server.
• Automotive manufacturing background, preferably within Magna.
• Experience with Intermec label printers and Zebra scanners.
• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, QAD or Trans4m.
• Automotive manufacturing experience

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Compensation starting at $80K
• Design, develop and implement applications based on customer requirements.
• Overall responsibility for Kepware and SQL servers along with related applications.
• Responsible for ensuring the integrity of production and shipping schedules in ERP and in related software.
• Responsible for documenting Mytox application procedures, including communication, release verification, and updates.
• Provide on-call support and on-site support for Mytox Personnel during NON normal Business hours as required
• Contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction activities.
