We’re looking for a Program Manager to join our program management team in Montreal, Canada. In this role, you will support Lightspeed payments program portfolio, with the execution of cross-functional initiatives that drive Lightspeed’s Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy forward and improve business performance. Working within the CRO’s office, you will collaborate with stakeholders across GTM and the wider Lightspeed organization to ensure structured, transparent, and results-driven execution of key programs.

As a Program Manager, you will act as a Program Management Business Partner to departmental leaders, helping align their goals with broader company objectives, and supporting their execution with rigor and accountability. This role requires the ability to manage complex, fast-moving projects, facilitate collaboration, drive clarity in execution, and contribute to Lightspeed’s overall operating model.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Partnering with departmental leaders to understand their strategies and support the execution of programs that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Oversight of the planning, coordination, and delivery of key GTM initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader company priorities.
  • Building strong cross-functional relationships and acting as the primary liaison between business teams and central stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Systems, Data).
  • Monitoring progress against OKRs and KPIs; surface risks early and facilitate timely decision-making.
  • Tracking and communicating progress through dashboards, status reports, and stakeholder updates.
  • Appling program management discipline across planning, governance, execution, and post-mortem activities.
  • Leveraging change management principles to ensure programs remain aligned despite evolving priorities.
  • Supporting the adoption of best practices and standardized processes across the PMO and GTM teams.
  • Contributing to operational excellence by identifying gaps, streamlining workflows, and scaling repeatable practices.
  • Being flexible and willing to take on new challenges as GTM and company needs evolve.

And a little bit of…

  • Contributing as part of the wider team to achieve organizational objectives even if this means doing things that aren’t strictly within the scope of your role!

What you’ll be bringing to the team:

  • 3–5 years experience in program/project management or a similar role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in facilitating, and working across multiple teams building stakeholder relationships, collaboratively, for outstanding business and individual outcomes.
  • Experience working with data, insight and financial outcomes and objectives; clearly articulating outcomes within a commercial environment.
  • Comfort in operating in ambiguity across a large, growing, complex, global organisation and seeking cross organisational alignment - ability to act with calm
  • Strong proficiency in the creation and maintenance of program artefacts such as a Program charter, program plan, RAID Logs/project plans and status updates.
  • Adept and proactive at monitoring and tracking  program progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Great communicator (at all levels/across multiple stakeholders) with a focus on initiative progress and outcomes, clear decision making and data-driven actions and outcomes.
  • Ideally experience in a high growth environment, ideally SaaS
  • Ideally experience in a global organization
  • As a global company with employees and clients outside of Quebec, fluency in English as a working language is required for this position.
